This course is suitable for anyone who has a basic competency in using both Windows and a word processing application that operates within the Windows environment. A good knowledge of computing combined with keyboard and mouse skills is also required.

  • Inserting and using shapes and drawings
  • Proofreading and spell-checking
  • Printing publications

Course Objective

To teach participants the techniques and rules of basic desktop publishing. Participants will learn how to design, lay out and produce newsletters, posters, fliers, business cards and complementary stationery using MS Publisher for both business and personal use. Each participant during the course will create a sample publication.
