Blasket Islands Eco Marine Tours

Join skipper Mick Sheeran on his 2.5 hour marine tours around the Blasket Islands.

Leaving from Dunquin, the tours explore the remote islands of the archipelago and their abundant wildlife (dolphins, basking sharks, whales, seals, puffins and many more).

Tour itinerary changes daily according to wildlife distribution.

The boat “Blasket Princess” has a flying bridge, perfect for watching wildlife.

Mick is a member of the Irish Whale & Dolphin Group and BirdWatch Ireland and runs his tours at a leisurely pace, to reduce his carbon footprint and to ensure a relaxed wildlife watching experience.

Two ferries 'Blasket Princess' and 'An Blascaod Mór' depart Dunquin every day from Easter to October (weather depending) at 09.55, 10.55, 11.55, 12.55, 13.55, 14.55, 15.55 and 16.55, for the Great Blasket Island where you can spend a few hours or the day walking, hiking, swimming, visiting the old village, painting, taking phptos or just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful landscapes and stunning seascapes.

Either take the regular ferry service and get picked up from the island for the tour, or take the tour and then get dropped off at the island for an hour or two.
