More words are sung than spoken in Carney's disarmingly charming
Dublin musical, which affectionately charts the tender relationship
that forms between a Grafton Street busker (Hansard) and a Czech
pianist (Irglova). Their instinctive chemistry is beautifully
expressed when they make sweet music together in an irresistibly
appealing movie that is full of heart and packs an emotional punch.
