Movie Preview: World Trade Center

The Plot: Inspired by the events of September 11, one of the most tragic days in American and world history, this factual drama focuses on two police officers as the horrors of the fateful day unfold. After overseeing evacuation efforts, the pair find themselves trapped in the carnage of one of the fallen Twin Towers, and as they await rescue, they are forced to fight for survival as the rubble threatens to collapse.
Extras: Director Oliver Stone is known to be somewhat of a conspiracy theorist, and some film buffs were concerned that he would create a film that hinted towards theories relating to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. However, Stone reiterated that he simply retold a true story of heroism which had little to do with political agendas.
Our Opinion: An interesting perspective on the terrifying events of this historic day, definitely worth a watch.
