Hole-by-hole guide

Hole 4 - "Arnold's Pick"
Par 5
568 yards

The par five fourth is time to open the shoulders if seeking a birdie in aggressive matchplay situations. The longer hitters will favour the left side as the longer carry leaves a much better angle to approach the green, most likely reachable with a long iron. Anywhere centre right of the fairway necessitates a cut shot with a fairway wood as mature trees overhang. Alternatively, course management might dictate laying up to the left to leave a wedge approach as numerous greenside bunkers have the putting surface well protected.
