Hines' heroics Hammer 10-man Villa
Super-sub Zavon Hines' injury-time strike sank 10-man Aston Villa 2-1 at Upton Park and lifted West Ham out of the Premier League drop zone.
Hines, who came on for Carlton Cole in the first half, fired home from close range in stoppage time after a fine surging run by Scott Parker.
Mark Noble had put the hosts in front from the penalty spot in first-half injury time after Habib Beye had been adjudged to have fouled Zines in the box when it appeared he won the ball first.
England goalkeeper Robert Green then saved Ashley Young's 49th-minute spot-kick - awarded after Manuel Da Costa climbed all over James Collins - before the Villa winger atoned for his error with a curling 25-yard equaliser on 52 minutes which could feasibly have been a cross.
The win lifted the home side out of the relegation zone and into 16th place while Villa, who had Beye sent off late on for a second bookable challenge, remain in seventh spot.
