Magnhild Opdøl exhibition at the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny Castle from June 15 – July 28. Norwegian artist Magnhild Opdøl explores the ‘poetics of the dead’ in her work through highly detailed drawings, sculpture and installation. Opdøl presents a new body of work that includes found objects, photography and video. Her working method refers to still life and Renaissance drawing, and traditional techniques within sculpture and conservation of animals.
