Seat of Dail Eireann (House of Representatives) and Seanad Eireann (The Senate), which (together with the President) constitute the Oireachtas (National Parliament), was erected in 1745 from designs by Richard Castle. Complimentary daily tours are available when the Dáil and Seanad are not in session, i.e. Mondays and Fridays during sitting periods and Monday to Friday (inclusive) during recess periods. Friday morning tours are not available on days when Houses are sitting. Tours take place at 11.30 am and 3.30 pm. Please have some proof of identity, eg driving licence, ATM card etc.and arrive 15 minutes before tour start time. Tour entrance point is via the Kildare Street Gate Please avoid carrying bulky bags.
