Once used as a Rectory, it offers its guests an atmosphere of comfort, relaxation and personal attention. Frewin provides bed and breakfast in the Victorian house.

They provide three double ensuite rooms with their own private sitting rooms.

There is also a luxury Irish self-catering cottage located in the grounds of the historic Victorian manor house. This cottage is fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, a large sitting room and bathroom. The bedroom covers the entire upstairs with a large bed at one end and a sitting area/library at the other. The cottage is ideally suited for two people.

Frewin is located within walking distance of the historic village of Ramelton. Ramelton is an unspoilt Heritage Town at the mouth of the River Lennon, on the western shore of Lough Swilly and boasts a number of fine examples of architecture of the 17th century and Georgian periods. There are several pubs, shops and a restaurant in the village with some very fine restaurants within a few miles.

Ramelton is located 11km north of Letterkenny which is the principal town in County Donegal and within 55km of two airports; namely Derry City airport and Carrigfin airport in the West of Donegal.

Ramelton is an ideal base for walking or touring Donegal’s wild mountainous countryside and spectacular coastline, a haven for walkers who enjoy quiet country roads or strenuous hikes cross country and over mountain. A particularly special place to explore is the Glenveagh National Park which hosts 6,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, woods and wild bogs. It is home to many species of wildlife including Ireland's largest herd of red deer.

For golfers the area around Frewin is home to Ireland’s finest golf courses, including Ballyliffen, Rosapenna, Port Salon and Murvagh. With its wild Atlantic coastline, Donegal has some of the finest beaches in Ireland with beautiful golden sand and clear water. Even on the nicest summer day you can have a beach virtually to yourself. There are also opportunities for deep-sea angling, river and lake fishing.

Frewin is a member of a number of highly respected accommodation lisitings including Alistair Sawday, Georgina Campbell and the Hidden Ireland guide.
