Mon 04 Apr 2007Five babies killed, 17 injured in fire at Sarajevo orphanageBOSNIA:An early morning fire tore through an orphanage in Bosnia's capital Sarajevo yesterday, killing five babies and injuring 17 others. A nurse was also burnt, police and hospital officials said.The blaze broke out on the third floor of the Ljubica Ivezic orphanage in central Sarajevo at around 6am and rapidly spread to three rooms where the babies were sleeping, according to the Sarajevo fire brigade.
