Sat 03 Mar 2007Presidential veto threat on Iraq pull-out motionUS:President George Bush has threatened to veto a Democratic Bill that would order the withdrawal of most US forces from Iraq next year. House speaker Nancy Pelosi said she expects Democrats in the House of Representatives to unite behind a proposal to link funding for the war to a withdrawal date of September 1st, 2008."We are a caucus and we will come together and find our common ground. And I believe, in the end, we will be unified on it," she said.
