Derry City 2 Drogheda Utd 0: DERRY CITY moved into second spot following a 2-0 victory over champions Drogheda United at the Brandywell last night.

Two minutes later the home side had doubled their lead from the penalty spot. Farren worked his way into the area before Brian Shelley brought him down and the Derry striker scored from the spot.
