Age: 17. Captain St Jarlath's senior football team.
Position: Centre-half back.
Football hero: Aidan O'Mahony of Kerry. He plays the same position as myself.
Hero outside football: Roy Keane. His leadership is brilliant.
Sporting dream: Winning the Hogan Cup with Jarlath's first of all. And to get playing senior football for the county would be brilliant.
Any perks from playing sport? No perks whatsoever. Education still comes first here.
Hard to combine sport and study? It's not too bad once you get into a routine. At the start it can be difficult. You train from 4.0 to 5.30 so you have from around 6.0 onwards to yourself.
Play any other sports? I used to play soccer but I had to give it up because I had club, school and county football to play.
Highlight of sports career so far? Winning an All-Ireland with the Galway minors last year.
Describe the food in the school: It's the nicest food you'll ever have, honestly! Monday is shepherd's pie, Tuesday is beef, Wednesday is pork, Thursday is burgers and Friday is fish and chips.
Deep Heat: Sweet aroma or unholy stink? Sweet aroma.
