Limited edition Martyn TurnerMunster Schools' Junior Cup/ CBC Cork 15 Rockwell College 0 : A try in either half helped CBC reach the semi-finals of the Munster Schools' Junior Cup following a deserved win over Rockwell College at Musgrave Park yesterday.
After fullback Darragh McNamara kicked a fine penalty in the fourth minute CBC Cork crossed for their first try in the 20th minute when left wing Michael Ryan scored his third of the tournament for an 8-0 lead.
Backed by the wind in the second half the Cork side put the tie beyond doubt with a second try from number eight Dylan Stokes after 40 minutes, converted by McNamara, to complete the scoring.
Christians now meet Castletroy College with PBC taking on Crescent College Comprehensive in the other semi-final.
