Tue 10 Oct 2007Jones rules himself out Wales's defeatThe fallout:Former Australia coach Eddie Jones, who is acting as South Africa's technical adviser at the World Cup, yesterday ruled himself out of the race to succeed Gareth Jenkins as coach of Wales.Jenkins was sacked after Wales lost to Fiji last Saturday and failed to make the quarter-finals for the third time in the last five World Cup tournaments. The Welsh Rugby Union has pledged to trawl the world to find his successor, but Jones said he was not interested.
