first defeat in the current Celtic League, at Murrayfield last
night. Their misery was compounded when lock Ryan Caldwell was
shown a red card for stamping in a ruck late in the second
half.Ulster had an early penalty attempt by outhalf Niall O'Connor
but the long-range kick went just wide. Edinburgh showed flair with
a score created by Nick de Luca's quickly taken throw-in. The
fullback combined with winger Andrew Turnbull who found John
Houston who crossed under the posts. Outhalf Phil Godman converted
and then added the extra points to a penalty try awarded when
Ulster prevented a score after Turnbull had been stopped on the
line and Edinburgh led 14-0 at half-time.
