Mon 06 Jun 2007Irish land record haulBOXING:The president of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association (IABA), Dominic O'Rourke, has hailed the performances of the Irish team after they won three gold and two silver medals at the fifth European Union Championships at the National Stadium on Saturday.Irish captain Ken Egan, Darren Sutherland and Roy Sheahan all won gold, while Carl Frampton and Cathal McMonagle landed silver on an historic day for the IABA.
