Young surveyors on the look out for quiz teams to take a table for charity

AROUND THE BLOCK: HATS OFF to YCS, the younger members of the Society of Chartered Surveyors, who are teeing up for a table quiz next week in aid of Focus Ireland.

Last year the surveyors raised €8,350 for the homeless charity and hope to raise even more this year.

The quiz is at Break for the Border on Lwr Stephen's St on April 24th at 7 pm. It is open to everyone and tables of teams cost €60 - this includes some food.

YCS events in aid of Focus Ireland over the years have helped the charity's acquisition of new homes, refurbishment of its Drop-In Coffee Shop in Temple Bar, youth services projects and the construction of its emergency family housing project in Finglas.
