Oysterhomes has planned a scheme with 20 different home styles, with a mix of two-bedroom terraced houses, three-bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses, and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes ranging from 83-142.4sq m (8,319-1,532sq ft).
The development will allow homeowners to reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs by over 50 per cent.
The timber-framed houses, launched by Duncan Stewart, are to be built with materials from renewable, managed forests, and will each have a generous rear garden and patio area.
With prices starting at €214,950, selling through Hynes Real Estate Alliance, the scheme will be built with high-performance insulation, efficient condensing boilers, zoned heating controls, double-glazed windows, and low energy lighting.
The scheme is 10 minutes drive from Athlone Town Centre, with its choice of shops, restaurants and cafés.
