Monkstown buyers can help design homes

TWO HOUSES for sale in Monkstown haven't been built yet, giving potential purchasers some say in the design, says selling agent Colliers Jackson-Stops.

There will be two four- bedroom houses on the site on Mounttown Road each with a slightly different layout.

They were designed by Derek Murphy Architects and the first measures about 260sq m (2,798sq ft) and is entered through a hallway into a double-height livingroom and kitchen. This house has a south-facing garden.

There are three en suite bedrooms upstairs and, in a part of the house that runs along the side of the garden, there is a bedroom and study.

The second house is 300sq m (3,229sq ft) and is also on an L-shaped plan with four bedrooms on two floors at the front, overlooking a courtyard. The main living areas and kitchen are on the top floor.

Buyers will be able to discuss the design and also have an allowance for the kitchen, bathrooms and flooring.
