Tax-relief semis in town centre

Co Waterford from €279,999: Semi-detached houses in the Co Waterford town of Cappoquin come with a good location and tax breaks.

Cúil na Circe is a small development of three-bedroom semi-detached houses in the heart of Cappoquin.

Phase one of the scheme comprises 13 houses and commercial space.

Sherry FitzGerald Reynolds is handling the sale of 10 of the houses and will have a show house on display this weekend.

Houses have around 107sq m (1,152sq ft) of living space and a traditional layout. Prices start at €279,999 and go up to €299,000.

All of the houses have a livingroom to the front and a kitchen/dining area running across the full length of the rear of the house.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one complete with en suite) and a family bathroom.

Units at Cúil na Circe are eligible for Section 23-type tax relief under the town renewal scheme.

Cappoquin is around 19kms from Dungarvan and a 10-minute drive from Lismore.

The scheme will be completed in February 2008, according to the selling agent.
