Fintan O'TooleYesterday morning, after he had finally done the deed, the
Taoiseach called for the general election campaign to be a clean
one, focusing on policies rather than on personalities. This is, of
course, the standard rhetoric for the occasion. But there is at
least a reasonable chance that the Taoiseach might get his
wish.
