Sat 05 May 2004Shipping leader and driving force behind passenger ferriesAlex Mullin Alex Mullin, who died suddenly this week in Newport, Wales, at the age of 56 was a former non-executive director of Irish Continental Group and past president of the Irish Chamber of Shipping.He was also a member of the Irish Maritime Development Office's advisory council and was regarded as one of the leading figures behind the development of Ireland's passenger roll-on, roll-off ferry sector over the past three decades.
