  • Rush hour car numbers fall

    THE NUMBER of private cars coming into the city during the morning rush hour has fallen by 14 per cent over the past 10 years, according to new figures from Dublin City Council.
  • Consumer concern continues over high price of diesel

    DIESEL IS now averaging €1.246 a litre, four cent more than petrol, according to an AA Ireland fuel survey released yesterday. In December 2007 the equivalent figures were €1.192 for a litre of petrol and €1.198 for diesel.
