Sat 05 May 2007Planet mattersJane Powerson your local librarySome ways of lessening one's impact on this planet are right there in front of one's nose, but still one doesn't see them. Or rather, let's not be coy with the "one" stuff. It was my nose. And my local library that was right in front of it. But I just hadn't been seeing it for the past decade or so. As a child and young adult, I was an avid library-goer, but somewhere along the way this excellent and free facility dropped off my mental map.
