FIRST ACTIVE plc has secured court orders for possession of four properties in relation to which missing solicitor Michael Lynn had dealings.

At the Commercial Court yesterday, Mr Justice Peter Kelly made orders for possession in favour of the bank over four properties - 82 Ashington Rise, Dublin 7; Hillview, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15; Kilsallagh Lower, Westport, Co Mayo; and Apartment 23, Westend Village, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

The judge said he would make the possession orders and any person seeking to vary those orders would have to apply to the court within the next seven days.

The judge also adjourned to April 28th next proceedings in which First Active is seeking possession of six other properties, also involving dealings by Mr Lynn.

In separate proceedings yesterday, the president of the High Court, Mr Justice Richard Johnson, was told the Law Society's Solicitors' Disciplinary Tribunal had set April 22nd next for the hearing of allegations of misconduct against Mr Lynn.
