Tue 07 Jul 2007Barrister gets jail threat over property purchaseA High Court judge has warned a barrister that he will go to jail in two weeks' time unless he meets all of his obligations under a contract of July 2005 for the sale of a central Dublin property.Mr Justice Peter Kelly told Patrick Russell yesterday that if it were not for his health difficulties, he would be going to jail immediately for contempt of a court order requiring him to meet his contractual obligations.
