issueAn inquest into the death of a man who told medical staff at St
James's Hospital in Dublin that he did not wish to be kept alive by
artificial ventilation has been adjourned so that the "end of life
issue" can be fully explored at the resumed hearing.A consultant physician at the hospital told Dublin City
Coroner's Court yesterday that three senior medical practitioners
involved in the man's care discussed and followed his wishes.
