Mozart as St Mary's celebrates the 250th anniversary of the
composer's birth, writes
Fiona Gartland.The Palestrina Choir with the Orchestra of St Cecilia will
perform the composer's Missa Solemnis in C at both the vigil Mass
at 10pm on Christmas Eve, with celebrant Archbishop Diarmuid
Martin, and at 11am Mass on Christmas morning, celebrated by
Cardinal Desmond Connell. The vigil Mass will be preceded by a
carol service at 9.30pm.
