Thu 06 Jun 2004'Eyes of the people are on these Houses'The following is the statement made to the Dáil yesterday by the Minister for Justice, Mr McDowell introducing the motion calling for the removal from office of Judge Brian Curtin:The motion in my name is unprecedented in the history of Dáil Éireann and is the first time in which a resolution calling for the removal of a member of the judiciary has been moved under Article 35.4 of the Constitution or pursuant to statute.
