Fri 08 Aug 2003Homeless couple in council protestA couple who are expecting their first child are camping outside the Waterford City Council housing office in an attempt to secure suitable accommodation.Mr James O'Brien (40), and his expectant partner Mary Ann (39), have collected over 300 signatures from passers-by on Bailey's New Street in the city for a petition calling for the couple to be offered appropriate housing.
