Mon 12 Dec 2002Murder victim had withdrawn intimidation statementAs the removal of the remains of murder victim Brian Fitzgerald took place in Limerick last night, gardaí are still hunting his killers.It was revealed at the weekend that the 34-year-old father of two had recently withdrawn a statement to gardaí about intimidation by a drugs gang to protect his family. A Garda source said he was being intimidated and had made a statement but later withdrew it.
