spendingRising food costs and high oil prices could put pressure on
consumers' pockets later this year, economists warned yesterday, as
new figures showed a slight fall in inflation last month.The annual rate of consumer price inflation fell to 4.9 per cent
in June, down from 5 per cent in May, according to the Central
Statistics Office (CSO).
