Weather stations at Kilkenny and Roches Point have experienced more than 200 per cent the average rainfall for the month in just three weeks, writes Steven Carroll.In spite of hot and sunny weather earlier in the month, only three of the 13 weather stations in the country - Malin Head, Belmullet and Clones - reported rainfall figures of less than the average monthly total.
