  • Sharon to set up 'buffer zones'

    The Israeli Prime Minister, Mr Ariel Sharon, announced in an address to the nation last night that he had decided to set up "buffer zones" between Israel and the West Bank to create what he called "security separation" between the two sides, in an effort to stem Palestinian attacks.
