Sat 02 Feb 2002FG leader to address his handling of hep C scandalMr Michael Noonan will tonight seek to revive his party's challenge for power, defining Fine Gael as a social democratic party and seeking to end the controversy over his handling of the Brigid McCole case.With little more than 10 weeks to the expected general election in early May, Mr Noonan will seek to put what one party source last night called "clear blue water" between Fine Gael and what he will portray as right-wing and uncaring economic policies pursued by the present Coalition.
