Find your ancestorsThe eight finalists in the International category of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award will be profiled tonight on RTÉ at 10.45.
This is the final programme in a three-part series on the 24 finalists in the competition.
Those being profiled tonight are Sir Allen McClay, of the Almac Group, a pharmaceutical and biotechnology company; travel and online technology specialist Darryl Ismail, of Chase Travel International; Gerard Barry, of the Galway-based tourist tax refunds and payment card transaction processing firm Fintrax Group; recruitment specialist James Kilbane, of Grafton Recruitment; Stephen Grant, of Grant Engineering; Michael Dawson, of the Gift Voucher Shop; Dave Ronayne, for his shipping business Mainport; and Liam Casey, of PCH International.
The 24 finalists fall into three categories: International, Industry and Emerging. A winner will be announced in each category and all will compete for the overall title of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007, the winner of which will be announced on October 25th in Dublin's Citywest Hotel in a ceremony to be broadcast on RTÉ 1.
