Sat 04 Apr 2006Regulator tells credit union not to pay out dividendMonaghan Credit Union, which has approximately 16,000 members, has been instructed not to issue a dividend for its 2005 year because of bad debts.The instruction from the Registrar of Credit Unions, Brendan Logue, was published in Iris Oifigiúil yesterday. The credit union, which has assets of approximately €98.5 million, is due to hold its agm next Wednesday.
