Brittas Bay landbank for over €4 million

DevelopmentLand : A landbank with significant potential close to the beaches at Brittas Bay in Co Wicklow has come on the market. The 5.98 hectares (14.77 acres) on the Castletimon Road is guided at over €4 million by agent Hooke & MacDonald Commercial.

The highly accessible site has 360 metres of road frontage along Castletimon Road and is less than a mile above Brittas's lovely beaches. It offers significant development potential subject to planning but its existing zoning offers plenty of potential.

It is zoned for "hotel and self-catering apartments including leisure facilities, tennis courts, swimming pool, a mini golf course, pony trekking, hill and coastal waking and other leisure facilities" under the Wicklow County Development Plan 2004-2010.

It has exceptional views over the sea - given its elevated position - but lies just half a mile from the R750 coast road at McDaniel's Inn and holiday complex.

It is less than five miles south of Wicklow town and seven miles north of Arklow, putting it close to a range of amenities, including Avoca Handweavers, Avondale House and Forest Park, the Powerscourt and Mount Usher gardens, Glendalough and the Wicklow Way.
