The protest, which the Health Service Executive (HSE) says is “unnecessary”,  is over its proposals for compensation to nurses who are injured during the course of their work.

    20:32 Scottish police are investigating the deaths last night of two young boys whose bodies were found in a parked car outside Glasgow.  The bodies of the two-year-old and six-year-old were found in the car in Lennoxtown on the outskirts of Glasgow.
