Boy (16) killed in Cork crash

A 16-year-old boy was killed in a two-car collision in Co Cork last night.

The crash occurred at Cornglass, Conna, near Mallow in Co Cork at around 6.30pm.

The teenager, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of both cars were taken separately to Cork University Hospital and Ardkeen Hospital in Waterford.

Neither are believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

There were no other occupants in the cars.
