Find your ancestorsThe first Eastern European business conference takes place in Dublin today.
The event is timed to coincide with Intercultural and Anti Racism Week in Ireland and has been organised by representatives of communities living in Ireland from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
“The aim of the conference is to build bridges between Irish and European businesses and to encourage partnerships and networking activities,” said a spokesman.
There are estimated to be 400,000 people from Eastern European countries living and working in Ireland.
