Man dies in Laois canal crash
A man died yesterday when his car crashed into a canal in Co Laois.
The body of the man (70) was found in the car - which was submerged in the Grand Canal near Vickerstown, Portlaoise, shortly after midday yesterday.
The dead man was taken to Portlaoise hospital.
