Find your ancestorsAer Lingus claimed today its new winter schedule reaffirms its commitment to Shannon airport and its customers in the west of Ireland.
The airline will operate daily direct flights from Shannon to Boston and from Shannon to New York.
It will also fly daily to Chicago via Dublin.
From the end of October Aer Lingus will operate double daily flights from Dublin to New York, daily flights from Dublin to Boston, four flights a week from Dublin to Washington and from Dublin to San Francisco, and three flights a week from Dublin to Los Angeles and from Dublin to Orlando.
Aer Lingus corporate affairs director Enda Corneille said: "The Open Skies agreement has given us the opportunity to expand into new markets in North America and to further consolidate our position on the North Atlantic.
"The two new long haul aircraft we took delivery of last year, have enhanced our long haul fleet and given us the leverage to significantly expand our operation into North America."
