Trust in Taoiseach drops - poll
The number of people who say they no longer trust the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern to run the country has increased according to an opinion poll published today.
Trust in the Taoiseach is down
The Red C/ Sunday Business Post poll found that half those surveyed no longer trust the Taoiseach. However, despite a drop in ratings for Mr Ahern, the poll revealed that support Fianna Fáil rose by one per cent to 37 per cent in the last month.
Fine Gael is down one per cent to 31 per cent and Labour is unchanged at 10 per cent.
Support for the Green Party and the Progressive Democrats also remains unchanged at 7 per cent and 2 per cent respectively.
