Premium Email @ireland.comA kilogramme of cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000 was seized by customs officers at Dublin Airport, it has emerged.
A 36 year-old Italian woman was arrested and taken to Santry Garda station for questioning after being detained yesterday.
"Officers became suspicious when the woman got off a flight from Amsterdam yesterday. After being questioned she was taken to Beaumont hospital where she was found to have been carrying 77 pellets of cocaine internally," a Customs spokesman said.
