Find your ancestorsGardaí have confirmed that a young woman died after being hit by a train at Howth Junction this morning.
DART services north of Clontarf Station were suspended due to the incident.
Services between Howth and Greystones and north of Howth Junction on the Malahide and Northern Commuter Line to Drogheda and Dundalk have now resumed.
The woman has not been named and gardaí could not confirm her age.
