Premium Email @ireland.comFingal Country Council has agreed to return up to 30 horses seized from the South Finglas Pony Club to their owners.
The animals had been taken from council-owned land by the council officials backed up by gardaí on Saturday afternoon. A number of containers which were used as makeshift stables were also removed.
However, following a meeting between council officials and representatives of the community-run pony club at Scribblestown Lane today, it has been agreed to return the animals to the site tomorrow.
It was also agreed that no containers will be placed on council-owned land.
