  • Roma families removed from M50 roundabout

    17:43 Nearly 60 people living on the M50 roundabout in Ballymun have been escorted from the site by gardaí to await deportation to Romania. Members of the Garda's National Immigration Bureau and gardaí from Dublin arrived the encampment at around 5.00am.  Gardaí had met representatives of the Roma families at Ballymun Garda station last night and outlined their plans to remove them from the site today.
