Sun 06 Jun 2007Woman dies after being hit by carA 19-year-old pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a car in Galway early this morning.The woman was struck by the car on Monivea Road near Briar Hill at 4.40 this morning. She was taken to Galway University Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
